NOTICE OF REGATTATHE 2015 ATLANTIC INVITATIONAL REGATTA @ MADISON BEACH CLUBMADISON, CONNECTICUTMay 26th, 2015 Dear Atlantic Class Skippers, Crew & Friends: The Madison Beach Club and its Atlantic Fleet are pleased to host the AIR @ MBC on Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, 2015. Details for the event are attached, below, and we ask that the completed entry form be returned on or before Monday, June 22, to ensure adequate planning. The Madison Beach Club is located 35 miles east of Cedar Point and 20 miles west of Black Point. We have no ability to launch an Atlantic at the Madison Beach Club at this time. However, we have identified several boat yards in the area that can handle an Atlantic if you consider travel to Madison by land. Please advise us if we can help you with any of these facilities and the day that you will arrive. Boats are welcome to arrive at any point the week prior to the event and can stay the week after as well. It is a pleasure for our Atlantic owners and sailors to host this event and bring together the many dedicated Atlantic crews from East and West of Madison. We hope to provide good, fun “open-water” sailing in one of the widest sections of Long Island Sound. As always, the weather and the number of participants will play a large part in the success of this event. We will have fun above and beyond all. As the newest fleet in the tradition of the Great Atlantic, we welcome you to Madison, CT! May we all enjoy clear skies and fair winds!
