Update from June- July Sound Waves:
Welcome back for summer ‘26 on the beach at MBC! The Beach Committee is excited to host a new event this year & bring back the classics! We are always looking for new ideas to enhance the beach experience, so please let us know if you have any ideas!

2026 Madison Fishing Derby
The Madison Fishing Derby is a seven-week saltwater fishing tournament featuring five fish classes: Striped Bass, Black Sea Bass, Bluefish, Scup (Porgy), and Sea Robin. This is a family-friendly, catch-and-release tournament (unless you’d like to keep your catch for dinner) designed to encourage friendly competition among MBC anglers.
Each class will have a youth category winner (ages 16 and under) and an adult category winner (ages 17 and up). Fish may be caught from either the shore or boat, no separate divisions. The biggest fish in each category wins! For full rules and details, please contact Matt Crowley or Rich Zschoche.
