Update from Aug-Sept Sound Waves:

Hello from the Beach!

August is setting up to be another amazing month for the beach.

A few notes:

Swim lessons are available for children of all ages. Please check with Madison at the lifeguard shack for scheduling and rates.
MBC fishing derby is under way, more youth and adult anglers needed! Catch a Striper, bluefish, sea bass, porgy or sea robin and submit length (Striper) or weight (all other fish) at dock house and get on the leader board! Leader board is posted outside dock house.
Raft test is required for children under 14 to be able to access the raft.
Please dispose of trash left on the beach, additional trash cans have been put out for convenience
If using the lower beach after 5pm please return beach set ups to the deck behind the snack bar.
NO glass on beach

– August 8 : Tuxis Swim 10 am (weather dependent)
– August 15: Sand Castle Competition 10am

– August 22: Swim Races 10am

– August 30: Cornhole Competition 2:30pm
